PCHS Bulletin 2/26/24
A big shoutout to Albert Whitehead and Tyler Collins from Mr. Vaal's IED class. We had one of the dividers on a charging station in a classroom break. Mr. Vaal had the students measure all of the dimensions with calipers and build the piece using their CAD(Computer-aided design) program. Then they printed it out on the 3-D printer. Adjustments had to be made, but they were able to give us a working piece today. Love when our students get a chance to solve real world problems using the skills they learn in their classes. Great job! #ChargerPride

Recently, the PCHS welding program competed in the Welding Regionals at VU. Mr. Carter's students did excellent, sweeping the top 5 places. All of the students have advanced to the State competition in hopes of winning and moving on to nationals.

Congratulations to the PCHS team that competed in the Scholastic competition at Oakland City University. Students were tested in 12 different subjects and medals were awarded to the top 3 scores in each category. Kenneth Gerard earned bronze in World History, Ty DeCoursey earned bronze in Chemistry and Jaden Baugh earned a bronze in Economics and a Gold in American History. Jaden also earned the only perfect score of the entire competition! Congrats to all who participated. #WeAreChargers #ChargerPride
