Check this out: Query Productions is proud to present their upcoming short film, She's On the Run, an electrifying 80’s themed story about the dangers of escapism. Featuring Xavery Weisman, the film follows a teenage girl named Marion as she steals a car and is on the run from the police. Escaping into an 80's alternate reality, she hurtles down this destructive path seeking to end her life. While a few bystanders try to pull her back from the brink, a sinister celebrity relentlessly urges her onward, determined to ensure she completes her tragic quest.
Inspired by a true story, Pike County natives Dylan Query and Jacob Stieneker have brought this film to life in the hopes that it may inspire others to seek help and look for the light in the darkness. Working closely with the local police department, Query Productions filmed the first ever local production police chase down the streets of Petersburg all in the effort to create a truly riveting short film experience right here in Pike County!
Below are links to the film's trailer and also purchasing tickets online for the red carpet premiere which will be February 7th and 8th in the PCHS Vance Hay's Auditorium.
