Hot off the truck! The Pike Central Fire Science class just received delivery of a multi-use forcible entry door for training. The students will be able to force the door open with various tools, practice breaking pad locks and cut rebar with a K12 saw to simulate barred windows. More updates with students in action will follow soon.

Brian Weathers, Pike Central High School alum and owner of HBW Solutions LLC, met virtually with the PLTW Engineering Design and Development class to discuss upcoming project collaboration opportunities between PCHS students and his firm. This was an introduction to what HBW Solutions does and the type of projects they oversee. The students are looking forward to working with Brian and his team throughout this year and the future! What an experience!

Congratulations to Pike Central High School's Varsity Volleyball team and coaches for earning the inaugural IHSVCA Team Academic Award! To be eligible, teams had to maintain an accumulated GPA of 3.5 or higher for the full school year. Of the nearly 400 high schools in Indiana, only 51 earned this prestigious team award. GO CHARGERS!

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Pike Central High School for being named a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School for 2022-23. This is the second year in a row that PCHS has received this honor. We are proud to have such a strong PLTW program along with all of the other vocational classes we offer. Working hard to prepare our students for the future! #WeAreChargers #ChargerPride
