Congratulations to the PC Vocational Welding students of their sweep at the Skills USA Welding competition this past weekend. They took the top five places and each of the students will continue on to the Sate competition. 1st - Gavin Wagner, 2nd - Cohen King, 3rd - Owen Eichmiller, 4th - Wesley Contreras, and 5th - Brandon Seitz. Congratulations to these young men in Mr. Scott's Precision Machining class on their accomplishments this past weekend at the SkillsUSA Region 4 competition at Vincennes University. In the CNC Milling competition, Adon LeMond placed 1st. In the manual machining, Ayden Young placed 5th, Cam Case placed 3rd, Andy Bieker placed 2nd, and Keenen Bieker placed 1st. All advance to the State competition in April. Check the website for a News article for more information. Well done to all!
Staff had a great time on Friday with their Soup-er Bowl competition. Staff signed up to bring in the soup of their choice and then they were judged by Mr. Elliott, Mr. Powell, and Officer Seger. It was a great time! Besides soup, others brought in sides, deserts and appetizers. Thanks to Mrs. Bohnert for organizing this and making the trophies.

Ms. Geiling's Principles of Culinary and Hospitality class was working on practicing measuring skills, reading and following recipes, using proper kitchen utensils, and washing dishes. Each group had a recipe for a mock Crumble cookie. The cookies were AMAZING and everyone had a great time! I'd say we have some future bakers out of this group.
Hats off to these students who had perfect attendance for the entire 1st semester! Not an easy feat to accomplish. Matelyn Russell, Braden Wilson, Corbin Traylor, Meekah Hatfield, Avery Adams, Kiara Lingo, and Alyssa McCutchan. #ChargerPride

PCHS Robotics team is hard at work designing their robot for this year's competition! If any students are still interested in joining, it is not too late. Just let the office know and they will get the student in contact with the coach.
