Multiple classes at PCHS helped with getting items ready for the annual meeting of the Pike County Development and and Pike County Chamber of Commerce that was held Thursday evening at Petersburg Elementary School. The Culinary Arts class catered desserts for the meal and students from the Engineering classes and Construction Trades made the plaques for the Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year. On March 1st, the Fire and Rescue class conducted search and rescue operations at the Patoka Township Fire Department's training building. Students conducted simulated conditions with no lighting and using a smoke machine. There are various rooms and scenarios that were set up to search for a victim. Students searched with and without a thermal imaging camera. Great job to the students who participated!
