Pike Central High School

Two Pike Central FFA Forestry teams competed in the Area III 4-H / FFA Forestry Career Development Event on November 13th. Contestants competed individually toward a team score on a general forestry exam and identification of tree leaves, seeds, fruit, wood, insects and diseases. Kelsea Query placed 8th overall and was our high individual. She joined Josiah Ross, Wyatt Thompson and Isaiah Harvey on a 6th place, state qualifying team going to Purdue University on December 14th. Competing on a second team for Pike Central was Jackson Burkhart, Donavin Amburgy and Blayden Miller. Great job everyone!!
