Lady Chargers XC advance to Semi-State
The Lady Chargers XC team advanced to the IHSAA Semi-State as a team for the first time since 2007.  The Lady Chargers finished in 5th place at Regional at Prides Creek Park on Saturday, October 13th.  The Chargers were tied with Evansville Mater Dei and had to go the 6th place runner to break the tie.  Freshman Laney Johnson placed 66th with a personal best time to break the tie and advance the team to Semi-State.  Libby Stone led the Chargers with a 20th place finish and personal record time of 21:23.  Quinlan Teague was 25th, Lauren Young 49th, Charlotte Dudenhoeffer, Jenna Meyer 54th, Laney Johnson 66th and Erin Craig 70th.  Most of the girls set personal record times which helped the Chargers advance to Semi-State.  The Lady Chargers will compete at Regional on Saturday, October 20th.  Good luck, Chargers!
